The power that can be obtained by operating at a pressure of about 1.1 bar is 235 HP with a torque output that goes from about 25 Kgm to over 31. The kit obviously requires remapping of the control unit. If desired, it is possible to prepare the engine to reach a power of 260 HP with a boost pressure of around 1.7 Bar, but it is necessary to make significant modifications to the engine such as forged pistons, a head gasket, oversized injectors. The SFM230 is an oil-cooled TD04 / TD04L turbo, equipped with a HiSi turbine housing (good temperature resistance with the ability to withstand maximum values around 860°C with peaks of 920°C) and a pneumatic pressure regulator directly on the compressor (to avoid using the air pressure regulator connected to the manifold - a simple solution capable of reducing adjustment difficulties). SAITO provides the SFM230 Scorpio kit equipped with a 1.1 bar wastegate actuator. This type of "rigid" actuator allows direct control of the pressure between the compressor and the actuator or without the help of the duty cycle valve called Pierburg (the latter must not remain connected electrically in any case). If you want to manage the pressure using a duty cycle electric valve (Pierburg), you must install a low-pressure actuator (0.6 bar), which will be controlled with the kit at a slightly higher price.
